Turnaround time
Standard
turnaround time for an audio file of 60-90 minutes is
one week--or sooner. Rush jobs are accepted at a
slightly higher rate.
Document
Format, Style, and Software Format
All
files are usually transcribed in Microsoft Word and
"near" verbatim" [click here for style
and format choices/information] WordPerfect is available and
special projects are available in Microsoft Excel
or Access.
Audio
Format
Using
digital formatting saves you time and money by
delivering your audio files (.dss, .mp3, .wav, .wma)
quickly and your work can be started almost immediately
upon receipt, making your turnaround time significantly
shorter. Your
digital audio files may be sent via e-mail or uploaded
using secure FTP. FTP
folders are password protected for security.
Transcription
of material recorded on microcassette or standard
cassette tapes is also available. Material
will be digitized prior to transcription--thus
transcription is never performed from your original
source material--and transcripts returned to you via
e-mail, the same as material received in electronic
format . Original audio material will be returned.
Digitized files of your audio
(.mp3 or .wav) will be available if requested--see
rates. Delivery
of Your Material Upload
your digital files to my FTP hook-up, or mail, courier,
or arrange for pick-up of your non-digitized audio material.
